Enquanto L\u00facia foi rezar o ter\u00e7o com o povo, Jacinta aceitou ficar algum tempo em casa de uma fam\u00edlia onde havia um homem que sofria de solu\u00e7os h\u00e1 mais de tr\u00eas anos e por isso n\u00e3o podia descansar. Ao fim de tr\u00eas dias, souberam que o homem tinha sido curado dos solu\u00e7os, bem como do excessivo nervosismo e fraqueza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jacinta rezou pelo filho de uma tia de L\u00facia, chamada Vit\u00f3ria. O rapaz abandonou a casa dos pais, n\u00e3o se sabia do seu paradeiro, esbanjou tudo o que tinha roubado aos pais, tornou-se um vadio e acabou por ir preso.
Certa noite conseguiu escapar e andando ele entre montes e pinhais, perdido na escurid\u00e3o da noite, o \u00fanico recurso de que ainda dispunha era a ora\u00e7\u00e3o.
Come\u00e7ou a rezar e pouco depois diz ter-lhe surgido Jacinta que pegou-o pela m\u00e3o, levou-o at\u00e9 um certo s\u00edtio e depois deu-lhe instru\u00e7\u00f5es para alcan\u00e7ar um caminho conhecido. Quando chegou a casa de seus pais, pediu-lhes perd\u00e3o.
