When they were in prison, at some point, the three of them were brought together in a room. L\u00facia consoled Jacinta, persuading her to offer her state of distress as a sacrifice for the conversion of sinners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u00facia reminded Jacinta that she need not be afraid of dying alone, for Our Lady would come to her aid. Such a reminder brought her some relief, for Jacinta’s mind focused mainly on the fact of dying alone, as if she had forgotten Our Lady’s words and could only keep present the fact that L\u00facia could not be with her at the moment of death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u00facia wished she could make her First Communion, but since she had not yet turned seven years old, it seemed impossible. She was saddened, sobbing and crying because she could not make her First Communion the next day. Meanwhile, a priest from outside entered the church to assist the Parish Priest with confessions: “Padre” Cruz (Priest Francisco Rodrigues da Cruz; Alcochete, 29 July 1859 \u2013 Lisboa, 1 October 1948). He consoled L\u00facia and, together with the local Parish Priest, managed to reverse the situation. They gave L\u00facia the opportunity to confess that day and receive her First Communion the following day, even though she had not yet reached the minimum age.
L\u00facia was very happy, and confessed her sins to “Padre” Cruz, who blessed her: \u201cMy daughter, your soul is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Keep it forever pure so that He may continue His divine action in it.\u201d
L\u00facia felt touched by “Padre” Cruz\u2019s words and asked how she should act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Na manh\u00e3 do dia 13 de julho, L\u00facia sentiu-se impelida por uma for\u00e7a estranha para ir ao local das apari\u00e7\u00f5es na Cova da Iria. Antes de se p\u00f4r ao caminho passou pela casa de Francisco e Jacinta e encontrou os dois no quarto. Jacinta estava junto \u00e0 cama de joelhos a chorar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No caminho para a casa do P\u00e1roco, L\u00facia interroga sua m\u00e3e e chama-a \u00e0 raz\u00e3o \u2013 o seu pedido \u00e9 para ela mentir a respeito dos factos. Contudo, se ela viu as apari\u00e7\u00f5es, ent\u00e3o \u00e9 bem que diga aquilo que viu, ou seja, diga a verdade. Sua m\u00e3e deu-lhe raz\u00e3o e pediu-lhe que dissesse apenas a verdade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u00facia mencionou que ofereceu a Deus e ao Imaculado Cora\u00e7\u00e3o de Maria as suas Mem\u00f3rias, as quais resultaram da sua pobre e humilde submiss\u00e3o aos que representam Deus na Terra e pediu-lhes que as fizessem frutificar para a gl\u00f3ria e bem das almas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
O Anjo da Paz apareceu pela primeira vez a L\u00facia e tr\u00eas companheiras suas em 1915. Quando rezavam o ter\u00e7o no exterior, L\u00facia viu que sobre o arvoredo do vale pairava uma esp\u00e9cie de nuvem, mais branca que a neve e algo transparente, com forma humana. As suas companheiras perguntaram-lhe o que era aquilo e respondeu que n\u00e3o sabia. O fen\u00f3meno repetiu-se mais duas vezes em dias diferentes.
Nestas apari\u00e7\u00f5es, o Anjo da Paz nunca falou com ningu\u00e9m, foi apenas visto.
L\u00facia n\u00e3o ficou indiferente, permanecia em si uma impress\u00e3o estranha que com o passar do tempo se ia desvanecendo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u00facia refere que as apari\u00e7\u00f5es do Anjo da Paz e de Nossa Senhora produziam neles, em certos aspetos, sentimentos id\u00eanticos e em outros aspetos sentimentos opostos.
Os sentimentos comuns \u00e0s apari\u00e7\u00f5es do Anjo da Paz e de Nossa Senhora eram a alegria \u00edntima, a paz e a felicidade.
Nas apari\u00e7\u00f5es de Nossa Senhora sentiam uma certa agilidade expansiva, um exultar de alegria e um certo entusiasmo comunicativo em vez do abatimento f\u00edsico, do aniquilamento na Divina presen\u00e7a e da dificuldade em falar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
L\u00facia pediu a cura de um doente a Nossa Senhora. Ela respondeu que se ele se convertesse, curar-se-ia durante o ano. Depois pediu-Lhe para os levar para o C\u00e9u. Nossa Senhora disse-lhe que levaria o Francisco e a Jacinta em breve, mas ela ficaria na Terra mais algum tempo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
